Prayer Shawl Ministry

The Prayer Shawl Ministry knits and crochets shawls and scarves to give away to those with joys or sorrows or just needing a hug. Several people took scarves to the Race for the Cure in April and gave them to Breast Cancer Survivors during the Pink Parade. The smiles were enormous!

The members are currently meeting at Bethany Pointe Assisted Living Facility on Tuesday afternoons at 1:30. The residents join in conversation or in knitting and crocheting.  It is not necessary to know how to do either to join us!

Also, think about coming and joining us. We sometimes even have musical accompaniment when we work at Bethany Pointe. We are also often joined by Sadie, an sweet-tempered, loving Cavalier King Charles Spaniel. The residents are always a joy to visit!

Over 50 preemie caps and shawls were sent to the School of Christian Mission to be sent to other countries.
