United Methodist Women Meetings for March
When a group like the United Methodist Women commits to a project, that group does not know how their efforts will be received. The UMW had two such projects in February: the car club dinner Feb. 7 and the
continental breakfast for the Lay Leadership Training Event on Feb. 18th. I have been told both projects were successes. Thank you to everyone who helped in any way. Your efforts make these successes possible.
Coming up in March:
The LENTEN BRUNCH is Saturday March 10th at 9:30 am in the Wesley Room. The hostess is the Night Circle (Circle 4, Lydia Circle). Our guest speaker is Pastor Gina Kirkland. Her topic will be “Walking
Toward Wholeness”. This meeting promises to be an interesting one, and it is open to all ladies of the church. So, plan to attend.
The Lydia Circle will meet at Princess Johnson’s home on March 15th at 7:00 p.m. Their guest speaker is Becky Zirkle, a missionary to Japan. Anyone who wants to hear Becky is welcome. Please let Princess know in advance that you are coming.
The Day Circle will meet March 20th at 10:00 a.m. in the church library.
Sincerely, Barbara Kreigh, President
